When asked about the ultimate meaning of his music, David Bowie described his work as a collection of "abstract sounds"— a deliberate attempt to grasp, shape, and express the intangible, the unseeable, and the unsayable. It is this creative philosophy that guides my approach to painting, serving as an emotional bridge to a landscape shaped by my own history.
My abstract paintings seek to capture those fleeting, often contradictory internal states that defy language: a sudden pocket of tranquility, the heavy fog of confusion, the weightlessness of dreaming, or the urgent impulse toward escaping. By resisting the urge to over-analyze before I begin, I surrender control to the medium. I trust the intuitive act of painting to serve as my compass, guiding me past conscious thought and deeper into the unsayable, spiritual territories of a journey born from longing.
